Nancy Malone has grown up in Nowata graduating from Nowata High School. She earned a degree from Pittsburg State University, KS; Biology BS ED. Nancy served as the President of the Native American Student Association while there. She has worked as a teacher in Utah at American Preparatory Academy and Fort Herriman Middle School. She was awarded Teacher of the Year 2020 from Dewey Public School where she taught High School Science. Nancy is married to Mark Malone and they have 4 Children. Mark and Nancy are owners of Native Medicine Ltd. Co. Nancy enjoys serving her church, family, and her community.

Jennifer Philpott (Pugh) grew up in Nowata and graduated from Nowata High School in 2001. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Rogers State University in 2005, and her Master’s Degree from Oklahoma State University in 2014. She spent 7 years working in Public Education, initially as a Teacher, then as a School Counselor. In 2017, Jennifer’s dad retired from his 30 year career as an Insurance Agent here in Nowata, and passed the torch on to Jennifer. She has owned and operated the Jennifer Philpott Insurance Agency in Nowata since August 2017. Jennifer and husband Michael, have five children that keep them very busy! She still has great passion for Public Education and Teachers, as well as a love for seeing the people and businesses in this community thrive.
